Presented during New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, LETTONNE’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, LA PAPESSE, explores feminine divinity through sensuality, ritual, and rebellion.
Named after the High Priestess of the Tarot, a symbol of intuition and knowledge that needs no explanation, LA PAPESSEchallenges the historically masculine image of the creator. At its heart is a powerful conviction: a woman is already divine.
The collection embraces the contradictions of femininity as expressions of the same strength—control and liberation, vulnerability and power, sexuality and spirituality. Devotional imagery meets eroticism, while the female body becomes its own iconography. Breasts and nipples are presented as symbols of both desire and nurturing motherhood, challenging the notion that sensuality and the sacred exist in opposition. At LETTONNE, they are inseparable.
The collection unfolds in two chapters, defined by the season’s only colors: red and black. Ten looks were presented at Mulberry Bar in New York, followed by twenty more at Lucid Interval in Paris, including reimagined versions of several New York designs in black.
Red embodies emotion, sensuality, and the intensity of life. Black introduces a more enigmatic expression—assertive, self-possessed, and inherently powerful. Together, the colors trace the many dimensions of a woman who refuses to be confined by a single definition.
With LA PAPESSE, LETTONNE presents femininity not as a fixed ideal, but as a force that holds contradiction, desire, and spirituality in equal measure. The collection’s message is clear: the divine feminine does not need permission to exist.
