Kiton Womenswear SS27: The Art of Italian Craftsmanship, Reimagined
In New York, Kiton presents Spring/Summer 2027 through an open-air cinema experience, where sartorial heritage, contemporary femininity, and the beauty of making take center stage.
In fashion, the most enduring stories are often told through the hands that create it.
For Kiton, the art of making is the foundation of its identity. In New York, the Italian luxury house unveils its Spring/Summer 2027 Womenswear Collection through La verità del fare – Chapter Two, a visual and sartorial narrative celebrating craftsmanship, quality, and the evolution of contemporary femininity.
The brand’s new New York showroom is transformed into an Italian open-air cinema. Across the screen, fragments from Kiton’s audiovisual archive reveal fabrics, colors, gestures, and sartorial techniques—offering a glimpse into the culture of making that has shaped the company for decades.
Here, quality is the plot.
A Living Heritage
The collection is born from material research, the precision of sartorial construction, and a deeply personal vision of the modern woman.
Kiton’s expertise is interpreted with lightness and ease, creating garments designed to accompany the different moments of the day with effortless elegance.
Jackets, waistcoats, and fluid trousers reinterpret traditionally masculine codes through elongated proportions, softer constructions, and considered layering. Double-breasted tailoring meets lightweight outerwear and quilted elements, while dresses and skirts introduce a more fluid, feminine rhythm.
The result is a wardrobe that moves naturally between structure and freedom.
A Palette of Light and Depth
Blue emerges in varying intensities, from luminous mineral shades to the deepest navy. White, ivory, and neutral tones create a refined foundation before giving way to warmer shades of beige, tobacco, and chocolate brown.
Powder pink, coral red, and vivid fuchsia bring expressive accents to the palette, balancing delicate tones with bold chromatic contrasts.
Materials define the character of each silhouette. Silk lends movement and luminosity to printed shirts, wide-leg trousers, and long dresses. Cashmere-and-silk knitwear introduces enveloping softness, while leather, lightweight outerwear, and richly textured fabrics create subtle contrasts.
Throughout the collection, the relationship between material and movement remains central.
Structure Meets Fluidity
The precision of sartorial construction is softened by natural ease.
Long dresses follow the body with lightness, illuminated by subtle metallic reflections. Tactile surfaces and shimmering details bring intensity to essential silhouettes, while relaxed lines gain definition through the precision of the cut.
Geometric openwork embroidery and delicate detailing appear across dresses, shirts, and coordinated separates, highlighting the value of workmanship.
Painterly stripes flow through matching sets, pyjama-inspired silhouettes, and elongated kaftans in shades of ivory, coral, and magenta.
Every element is designed to be interpreted personally—through combinations, layers, and contrasts.
The America’s Cup Chapter
A dedicated chapter of the collection introduces an America’s Cup-inspired capsule, defined by a clean, graphic nautical vocabulary.
Navy and white, vertical stripes, sailing motifs, and contrasting trims shape tailored jackets, relaxed shirts, knitwear, and technical outerwear.
The codes of life at sea are reinterpreted through Kiton’s sartorial sensibility, bringing together functionality, comfort, and precision.
The capsule adds a distinctly energetic dimension to the collection while remaining connected to the house’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
A Confident Femininity
Throughout Spring/Summer 2027, apparent opposites coexist: masculine and feminine, rigor and ease, restraint and sensuality, memory and modernity.
The result is a wardrobe conceived for a woman with a distinctive personality—one whose elegance follows no prescribed formula but is expressed through the way she lives in and wears each garment.
Kiton’s vision of femininity is confident without being overstated. It is found in the balance between precision and spontaneity, in the freedom to combine pieces, and in the quiet power of clothing made with intention.
La Verità del Fare Continues
The open-air cinema becomes more than a setting. As images from Kiton’s past are projected alongside the new collection, history is presented not as nostalgia, but as a living heritage of knowledge.
Each garment becomes a new frame within an evolving narrative founded on quality, authenticity, and human expertise.
With its Spring/Summer 2027 Womenswear Collection, Kiton renews its commitment to the principles that have always defined its identity: the selection of fabrics, the precision of sartorial construction, and the value of the time devoted to every garment.
From Naples to New York, the art of making continues to shape the future.
La verità del fare continues.
