TATRAS AUTUMN-WINTER 2026
For Autumn/Winter 2026, TATRAS journeys into the mountains of central Italy, where an immense and elemental natural landscape becomes the setting for a study of movement, distance and contemplation. Through the lens, the campaign unfolds as a journey at altitude, both physical and introspective, exploring the relationship between the individual and the vast environment that surrounds them.
Photographed by Deo Suuvera and Pamela Dimitrov in Italy’s Piccolo Tibet, the campaign moves through a striking landscape of snow-covered terrain, open roads and distant mountain peaks. Against this expansive backdrop, TATRAS’s man and woman are captured in motion, moving forward, navigating and traversing the terrain with a sense of purpose and quiet determination. The imagery reflects the brand’s distinctive dialogue between Italian and Japanese sensibilities, balancing the ruggedness of the natural world with a refined sense of restraint and modernity.
Nature remains the campaign’s central presence, constantly shifting with the movement of the seasons. Melting snow reveals fragments of the earth beneath, exposing textures and traces of the landscape that had been hidden beneath the surface. Roads curve through the open expanse, creating pathways across the mountains, while isolated structures and subtle traces of human intervention appear against an otherwise untouched environment.
The result is a campaign grounded in contrasts: movement and stillness, permanence and transformation, human presence and the vastness of nature. At altitude, TATRAS frames winter not simply as a season, but as an environment in which clothing, landscape and human experience become part of the same visual narrative.
The season’s wardrobe becomes an integral part of this movement through the landscape. Styled by Shotaro Yamaguchi, protective outerwear, enveloping volumes and softened layers respond directly to the scale and severity of the surroundings, creating a dialogue between the human figure and the vastness of the terrain. Earthy tones of green, brown and beige appear alongside deeper blues and blacks, echoing the shifting colors of the mountain environment and the contrasts between earth, sky and shadow. Reversible jackets with loop-button closures bring softness and function into conversation, adding a tactile dimension to the collection’s considered approach to utility.
Designed to balance rigorous construction with relaxed elegance, each garment establishes a continuous dialogue between shelter and exposure. Structured silhouettes provide protection without sacrificing ease, while softer proportions introduce a sense of intimacy and movement. The collection’s technical precision is tempered by an understated sophistication, allowing each piece to feel both purposeful and quietly refined.
Across the collection, the TATRAS man and woman assert distinct identities while sharing a common, universal stylistic language rooted in balance, intimacy and character. Rather than relying on overt statements, the wardrobe communicates through proportion, texture and subtle detail, resulting in a quiet, meditative expression of elegance. In the expansive stillness of the mountains, clothing becomes both protection and personal expression—an extension of the journey itself.
