SERICA Fall/Winter 2026–27: A Study in Contrast

Reconsidering the 1990s through fluid silhouettes, grunge references, and a wardrobe unconstrained by gendered codes.

SERICA’s Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection looks to the 1990s not as a decade to reproduce, but as a cultural moment to reconsider. At its core is the attitude of grunge: loose proportions, an instinctive rejection of polished dressing, and the mixing of masculine and feminine codes.

References to Kurt Cobain, Juergen Teller, and Wolfgang Tillmans sit alongside a broader memory of a decade defined by imperfection, ambiguity, and a willingness to leave things unresolved.

That sense of openness becomes central to the collection. SERICA approaches clothing as something less concerned with defining exactly who the wearer is and more interested in leaving space for who they might become.

Beyond the Binary Wardrobe

Fall/Winter 2026–27 is built around fluidity. Tailoring, loose trousers, denim, fitted pieces, and oversized silhouettes move freely between traditionally masculine and feminine wardrobes.

This season also introduces SERICA’s first menswear collection, conceived within the same visual language as the womenswear. Rather than establishing menswear as a separate category, the brand presents it as another possibility within the same wardrobe.

Familiar codes are deliberately displaced. A traditionally masculine trouser can be paired with a more intimate silhouette, while restrained tailoring is interrupted by elements that shift the expected balance of a look.

The palette follows a similarly controlled tension, moving through grey, black, denim, and burgundy, punctuated by SERICA’s signature violet and flashes of neon yellow. These brighter tones function as moments of disruption, bringing energy into otherwise restrained silhouettes.

Leaving Room for Possibility

For SERICA, uncertainty does not necessarily require restraint. Instead, it becomes an opportunity to mix, reinterpret, and move freely between established references.

The approach reflects a contemporary relationship with personal style, shaped by rapidly changing references and shifting identities. Rather than committing to a single aesthetic or category, the collection embraces the possibility of movement between them.

A study in contrast, designed to be worn and reinterpreted.
