C.P. Company Spring/Summer 2027: Heritage Reimagined Through Innovation

Paris, France — C.P. Company unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection during Paris Fashion Week, presenting a season that deepens the brand’s long-standing dialogue between archival research and technical innovation. Showcased inside its Paris showroom on June 24, the presentation also hosted the third edition of Behind The Seams, an immersive initiative designed to bring the brand’s community closer to its creative process.

Inspired by the journey of a garment—from the historic Massimo Osti Archive in Bologna to the brand’s research and development laboratories—the exhibition highlighted the philosophy that has defined C.P. Company for decades: honoring heritage while continuously pushing fabric technology and garment construction forward.

At the heart of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection is an exploration of transformation. Garment dyeing evolves beyond color application into a subtractive technique, removing pigment to reveal unexpected tonal depth and naturally aged finishes. Surface treatments similarly move beyond decoration, physically altering textile structures to create new textures and visual identities, while functional design elements are refined into cleaner, more understated forms.

One of the season’s standout moments is the return of the iconic Mille Jacket, originally introduced by Massimo Osti in 1988 for the legendary Mille Miglia road race. Reimagined in the signature 50 Fili fabric with the original silhouette, resin “Fissato” treatment, and garment dyeing, the capsule pays tribute to one of the brand’s most celebrated innovations. Matching sweatshirts and T-shirts featuring a special 1988 graphic reinforce the collection’s connection to C.P. Company’s archive.

The collection also revisits another house icon through a luxurious nubuck leather interpretation of the Goggle Jacket, combining its recognizable functional construction—including detachable hood, concealed closures, and utility pockets—with a rich tactile finish designed to evolve through wear.

Innovation continues with the introduction of M-Bossed², a newly developed embossing technique that partially fuses nylon fibers to create raised camouflage textures before garment dyeing enhances their dimensional effect. Equally compelling is Sunfade, a new treatment inspired by garments naturally faded by years of sunlight in the archive. Rather than adding color, the process carefully removes pigment by hand after dyeing, producing unique tonal variations that celebrate the beauty of time and wear.

Spring/Summer 2027 also signals a subtle evolution of one of C.P. Company’s most recognizable signatures: the Lens. Instead of remaining permanently visible, it is now concealed within a flap pocket embroidered with the brand logo, reflecting a broader move toward quieter, more versatile design without abandoning the label’s identity.

Alongside the main collection, Metropolis Series Spring/Summer 2027 continues the brand’s vision of technical urban dressing. Built for modern city life, the range emphasizes architectural silhouettes, reversible construction, and advanced textile engineering while maintaining a restrained monochromatic palette inspired by concrete landscapes.

Leading the material innovations is Mais Steel, an advanced canvas weave that integrates stainless steel filaments into nylon and cotton yarns, creating a naturally crinkled texture reminiscent of industrial architecture. The collection also introduces updated versions of Memri microfiber and Metro-Tek, featuring redesigned pocket systems, transparent construction details, and the Re-Colour dyeing process, where garments develop layered tonal variations through multiple stages of overdyeing.

With Spring/Summer 2027, C.P. Company once again demonstrates why it remains one of technical sportswear’s most influential innovators. By revisiting archival icons through experimental textile research and understated functional refinement, the brand continues to redefine how heritage and innovation can coexist in contemporary design.
