For Spring/Summer 2027, designer Justin Connor challenges the boundaries between propriety and provocation, restraint and exposure, and good taste and its deliberate undoing.

CHROMATIQUE LAB will make its Paris runway debut on October 7, 2026, presenting SINNER SINNER!, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection in collaboration with Flying Solo. The show marks the first runway presentation for founder and designer Justin Connor, introducing a more fully articulated vision for the independent label.
The debut follows a two-year period of creative development. After its last release in 2024, Connor stepped away from the conventional seasonal cycle to reconsider the label’s identity and sharpen its creative direction. The result is a collection built around contradiction, questioning the boundaries between propriety and provocation, restraint and exposure, and good taste and its deliberate undoing.
The title, SINNER SINNER!, evokes the language of accusation, repeating it until judgment becomes provocation and humor. Rather than defining transgression, the collection questions the standards that determine what is considered acceptable in the first place. Familiar codes of dress are reinterpreted through proportion, material, and image, allowing opposing ideas to coexist within a single wardrobe.
For Connor, the runway presentation also expands the label beyond clothing. Casting, movement, sound, and image will come together as a unified expression of CHROMATIQUE LAB, reflecting a design philosophy in which the world surrounding a garment is as integral as the garment itself.
“Taking time away from releasing collections gave me the space to be much more critical about what CHROMATIQUE LAB needed to be,” Connor explains. “I became less interested in making things that simply looked good together and more interested in why they belonged together.”
With SINNER SINNER!, CHROMATIQUE LAB enters a new chapter without committing to a fixed aesthetic. Paris represents not a culmination, but a beginning—a platform for a more deliberate exploration of identity, contradiction, and the conventions that shape contemporary dress.
